🌐 LATERAL RECRUITMENT OF OFFICERS IN THE STATE BANK OF SIKKIM ADVERTISEMENT NO. SBS/LR/2022/01

Established in 1968 through the State Bank of Sikkim Proclamation State Bank of Sikkim, 1968 of the then Chogyal of Sikkim, State Bank of Sikkim is an undertaking of the Government of Sikkim. State Bank of Sikkim operates as a commercial bank in line with any other banking institutions in the country and also functions as treasury bank to the Government of Sikkim.
Applications are invited from eligible Indian Citizens of Sikkimese origin having Sikkim Subject certificate/Certificate of Identification issued by competent authority of the Government of Sikkim for lateral appointment in the following posts on regular/contract basis in State Bank of Sikkim.
Other Criteria:
👉A. Competencies:
Preference shall be given to the candidates: Having knowledge on local language and culture.
• Having better understanding of dealing with customer's problems.
• Having good negotiation skills. Having good analytical skills.
• Having good understanding of credit delivery system. • Having hard working and proactive attitude.
B. Domicile:Should be an Indian citizen of Sikkimese origin possessing Sikkim Subject Certificate/Certificate of Identification issued by the competent authority of the Government of Sikkim. F. Officers retired on disciplinary grounds are not eligible Selection of the candidate shall be done on the basis of interview to be conducted by an Interview Board. Decision of the Interview Board shall be binding. be made available on the Bank's i) Candidates should satisfy themselves about their eligibility for the post applied for. C. Working officer should be able to report on duty within 100 days of appointment along with Non
objection certificate from the existing employer. D. Retired bank officer shall report within 30 days of appointment.
E. Other:Candidates against whom there is/are adverse report regarding character & antecedents, moral turpitudesare not eligible to apply for the post.

👉 GENERAL INFORMATION
determine their eligibility only at the time of interview and the decision of the bank shall be final and binding.
ii) Candidates are advised in their own interest to apply much before the closing date and not to wait till the last date.
iv) Candidates serving in Govt./Quasi Govt. offices, Public Sector undertakings including Nationalised Banks and Financial Institutions are advised to submit 'No Objection Certificate from their employer at the time of
interview, failing which their candidature may not be considered. v) In case of selection, candidates will be required to produce proper discharge certificate from the employer at
the time of taking up the appointment.
vi) Candidates falling under Scheduled Tribe/Caste/OBC categories should submit the category certificate issued by Competent Authority along with the application form.

ix) Any legal proceedings in respect of any matter of claim or dispute arising out of this advertisement and/or an application in response thereto can be instituted only in Gangtok and the courts/tribunals/ forums at
Gangtok shall have sole and exclusive jurisdiction to try any cause/dispute. x) Decision of the Bank in the matter of selection/appointment shall be final and binding on all applicants.
