True Incident of Maharashtra District Collector

In a school, the day's lessons were going on as usual.......it was raining heavily outside,....in class 4, a teacher jokingly asked the children - if I give each of you 100 rupees, what will you all buy?

A student said - I will buy a video game..

Another said - I will buy a cricket ball.

Another said- I will buy a cute doll.

Someone else said - I buy chocolates.

...but..

 

A child was lost in thought…Noticing that, the teacher asked the boy - what are you thinking, kid, what are you buying?

The child said - buy glasses!!

Teacher-:Kannadakan....Why do you have that?

The boy said…..Sir, my mother has a little blurred vision, she can’t see properly…So I buy my mom glasses!

 Teacher asked - Your father can bring glasses to your mother..Tell them... Don't you have to buy anything for yourself with this 100 rupees?

 The teacher's eyes filled with the child's answer.

 The child said - My father is no longer in this world

My mother is everything to me….my mother sews the clothes of the people of the village…from the earnings..she gives me food..clothes…books to go to school..pen…she is blind for some months. She struggles to get the clothes stitched properly, that's why I give my mom glasses....yuck Andre...With the Kannada that I give....my mother...with the belief that she will read me well...and...with my mother's help....I can become a great person in future.

 Teacher - Well done little one....Your thinking is your achievement! Take this 100 Rs. As per my promise and I will pay this 200 RsLending s.

It's raining outside, class is going on inside!...The same teacher was looking forward to his retirement for 3 months...thinking...studying.

 All of a sudden, the vehicle of the district collector came and stopped in front of the school with its red light and siren on..... The school staff became alert....

 Silence in the school!

But what is this?

A district collector falls at the feet of the old teacher and says - Sir, I have come to return the 200 rupees I borrowed!

 The entire school staff was shocked!

 The old teacher... spots the young man who is about to fall and picks him up, hugs him and cries in his arms and says…My teaching career was fulfilling...

 

👮It doesn't take much time to change the times..the emperor's son becomes destitute, and the poor man's son becomes emperor…..a good teacher…there should be a good aim……👮

ಒಂದು ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ದಿನದ ಪಾಠಗಳು ನೆಡೆಯುತ್ತಿತ್ತು ಎಂದಿನಂತೆ.......ಹೊರಗೆ ಜೋರಾಗಿ ಮಳೆ ಬರುತ್ತಿತ್ತು,....4ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಠದ ಮದ್ಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರೊಬ್ಬರು ತಮಾಷೆಗೆ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದರು - ನಿಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ನಾನು 100-100 ರೂಪಾಯಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟರೆ ನೀವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಏನು ಖರೀದಿಸುತ್ತೀರಿ?

 ಒಬ್ಬ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಹೇಳಿದ - ನಾನು ವಿಡಿಯೋ ಗೇಮ್‌ ಖರೀದಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ..

ಇನ್ನೊಬ್ಬ ಹೇಳಿದ - ನಾನು ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ಬಾಲ್ ಖರೀದಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.

ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬ ಹೇಳಿದ- ನಾನು ಒಂದು ಮುದ್ದಾದ ಗೊಂಬೆಯನ್ನು ಖರೀದಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.

ಬೇರೆಯೊಬ್ಬ ಹೇಳಿದ - ನಾನು  ಚಾಕೊಲೇಟ್ಗಳನ್ನು ಖರೀದಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.

...ಆದರೆ..

 

ಒಂದು ಮಗು ಆಲೋಚನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಳುಗಿತ್ತು....ಅದನ್ನು ಗಮನಿಸಿದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಆ ಹುಡುಗನನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದರು - ನೀನು ಏನು ಯೋಚಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಿಯ ಮರಿ, ನೀನು ಏನು ಖರೀದಿಸುತ್ತೀಯಾ?

ಆ ಮಗು ಹೇಳಿತು - ಕನ್ನಡಕ ಖರೀದಿಸುವೇ!!

ಶಿಕ್ಷಕ-:ಕನ್ನಡಕನ....ಯಾಕೆ ನಿನಗೆ ಅದು?

ಆ ಹುಡುಗ ಹೇಳಿದ.....ಸಾರ್, ನನ್ನ ತಾಯಿಗೆ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ  ದೃಷ್ಟಿ ಮಂಜು, ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಕಣ್ಣು ಕಾಣಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ...ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ತಾಯಿಗೆ ಕನ್ನಡಕವನ್ನು ಖರೀದಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ!

 ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಕೇಳಿದರು - ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆ ನಿನ್ನ ತಾಯಿಗೆ ಕನ್ನಡಕವನ್ನು ತಂದು ಕೊಡಬಹುದು..ಅವರತ್ರ ಹೇಳು... ನೀನು ನಿನಗಾಗಿ ಏನನ್ನೂ ಖರೀದಿಸಬೇಕಲ್ಲವೇ ಈ 100ರೂಪಾಯಿಯಲ್ಲಿ?

 ಮಗು ನೀಡಿದ ಉತ್ತರದಿಂದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ಕಣ್ಣು ತುಂಬಿಬಂತು..

 ಮಗು ಹೇಳಿತು - ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆ ಈಗ ಈ ಜಗತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿಲ್ಲ

 ನನ್ನ ತಾಯಿಯೇ ನನಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲ.....ನನ್ನ ತಾಯಿ ಊರ ಜನರ ಬಟ್ಟೆ ಹೊಲಿದು...ಬರುವ ಸಂಪಾದನೆಯಿಂದ..ನನಗೆ ಊಟ.. ನನಗೆ ಬಟ್ಟೆ...ಶಾಲೆಗೆ ಹೋಗಲು ಪುಸ್ತಕ ..ಪೆನ್ನು...ಕೊಡಿಸುತ್ತಳೇ....ಕೆಲವು ತಿಂಗಳುಗಳಿಂದ ಅವಳು ದೃಷ್ಟಿ ಹೀನತೆಯಿಂದ ಬಟ್ಟೆಯನ್ನು ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಹೊಲಿಯಲು ಪರದಡುತ್ತ ಇದ್ದಾಳೆ, ಅದಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯೇ ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ತಾಯಿಗೆ ಕನ್ನಡಕವನ್ನು ನೀಡುತ್ತೇನೆ....ಯಾಕ್ ಅಂದ್ರೆ...ನನ್ ಕೊಡಿಸುವ ಕನ್ನಡಕ್ಕದಿಂದ.... ನನ್ನ ತಾಯಿ... ನನ್ನನು ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಓದಿಸುತ್ತಳೇ ಅನ್ನೋ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿಂದ...ಮತ್ತು...ನನ್ನ ತಾಯಿಯ.ಸಹಾಯದಿಂದ....ನಾನು ಭವಿಷ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ದೊಡ್ಡ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ಆದ್ರೂ ಆಗಬಹುದು.

 ಶಿಕ್ಷಕ -ಶಭಾಷ್ ಪುಟ್ಟ....ನಿನ್ನ ಆಲೋಚನೆಯೇ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಪಾದನೆ!  ತಗೋ ಈ 100 ರೂ. ನನ್ನ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಭರವಸೆಯ ಮಾತಿನಂತೆ ಮತ್ತು ನಾನು ಇನ್ನು ಈ 200 ರೂ.ಗಳನ್ನು ಸಾಲವಾಗಿ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ.  

ನೀನು ದೊಡ್ಡ ವ್ಯಕಿಯಾಗಿ ಹಣ ಗಳಿಸಿದಾಗ ,ಆ 200ನ್ನು ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿಸು....ನೀನು ಅಂತಹ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಾಗಬೇಕೆಂದು ನಾನು ಬಯಸುತ್ತೇನೆ...ಎನ್ನುತ್ತಾ....ಆ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಯ ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ  ಕೈಯನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿಸುತ್ತ 300 ಕೊಟ್ಟರು.

*30 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ನಂತರ...........*

 ಹೊರಗೆ ಮಳೆ ಬರುತ್ತಿದೆ, ಒಳಗೆ ತರಗತಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದೆ!...ಅದೇ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಇನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ನಿವೃತ್ತಿಯ ಕಡೆಯ 3ತಿಂಗಳು ಎದುರುನೋಡುತ್ತ...ಯೋಚಿಸುತ್ತ...ಪಾಠ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು

 ಏಕಾಏಕಿ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಮುಂದೆ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ಕೆಂಪು ಬಣ್ಣದ ದೀಪಾದ ಸೈರನ್ ಬತ್ತಿಯ ವಾಹನ ಬಂದು ನಿಂತಿತ್ತು..... ಶಾಲಾ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಅಲರ್ಟ್ ಆದರು....

 ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮೌನ!

ಆದರೆ ಇದು ಏನು?

 ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿಯೊಬ್ಬರು ಮುದುಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ಕಾಲಿಗೆ ಬಿದ್ದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ - ಸಾರ್, ನಾನು ಸಾಲವಾಗಿ ಪಡೆದ 200 ರೂಪಾಯಿಯನ್ನು ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿಸಲು ಬಂದಿದ್ದೇನೆ!

 ಇಡೀ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಬೆಚ್ಚಿಬಿದ್ದರು!

 ಆ ವಯಸ್ಸಾದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕ...ಕಾಲಿಗೆ ಬೀಳಲು ಬಾಗುತ್ತಿರುವ ಆ  ಯುವಕನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿ ಮೇಲೆ ಎತ್ತುತ್ತಾನೆ,ಅಪ್ಪಿಕೊಂಡು ತೋಳುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಳುತ್ತಾ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ....ನನ್ನ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕ ವೃತ್ತಿ ಸಾರ್ಥಕವಾಯಿತು...

 

ಕಾಲ ಬದಲಾಗಲು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಸಮಯ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ..ಚಕ್ರವರ್ತಿಯ ಮಗ ನಿರ್ಗತಿಕನಾಗುತ್ತಾನೆ, ಮತ್ತು ಬಡವನ ಮಗ ಚಕ್ರವರ್ತಿಯಾಗುತ್ತಾನೆ.....ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಗುರು...ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಗುರಿ ಇರಬೇಕು ಅಷ್ಟೇ......
