Israel's military claimed on Wednesday that it had discovered a significant arms depot in Gaza "in the heart of a civilian population" and seized or destroyed a variety of weapons, including drones, grenades, and missiles.
"Perhaps of the biggest weapon stops in the Gaza Strip was tracked down close to a facility and school" in the north of the Palestinian region, an assertion said.
It continued, "The depot contained hundreds of various types of RPG missiles and launchers, dozens of anti-tank missiles, dozens of explosive devices, dozens of long-range missiles aimed at central Israel, dozens of grenades, and UAVs."
"Some were sent for further investigation and some were destroyed on-site."
According to The Times of Israel, incoming rocket sirens were heard on Monday in the southernmost city of Israel, Eilat. The IDF stated that the cause is under investigation. The war between Israel and Hamas entered its 61st day on Wednesday, and it remains deadlocked.
However, the Israel Defense Forces stated that an investigation is underway into the alarms' cause.
Residents claimed to have witnessed at least one intercept and air defense activity as the sirens went off.
Responding to claims in a US-authored research paper that had caused a public uproar, Israel's Securities Authority stated that it found no significant stock-trading anomalies in the days preceding Hamas' Oct. 7 attack that warrant further investigation.
Tel Aviv Stock Trade CEO Ittai Ben-Zeev added there were additionally no peculiarities obvious in value, bond, or subordinate exchanging, as per a meeting Wednesday with Bloomberg television. He stated that the "local market didn't see anything awkward."
